Increase energy.
Energy is everything. Without it we can’t move, think or act. We are rendered immobile. Unable to exert our will on the world.
There are many habits out there that can sap our energy constantly if we let them. It’s important to determine whether or not they’re actually needed to enjoy life or have just become an old pattern that’s stuck around. A lot of vices can disrupt our natural instincts and interfere with optimal function. Learn about the substances you use on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Don’t just take things at face value because you’ve been consuming them for years.
Cutting things out is a great way to get back to baseline and to understand what your real energy levels and motivations are in life. Get more active and return to the basics. Go out in nature. Exercise. Eat real foods. Have an objective and stay in motion. Become one with your environment. Look at life through a more primal and simple lens. Without realizing it, we heavily overcomplicate things. We overuse technology to compensate for a lack of connection to the source.
Get some sun. Go outside. Run around. Eat the right things. Train. Breathe properly. Sleep. Cement the foundations and get into a natural energetic state. Use the energy you get from becoming healthier and stronger to put extra effort into your work and relationships. You’ll have more focused time throughout the day to accomplish more things and learn new skills. Your waking hours will be filled with vitality and excitement. You’ll want to jump out into the world and get things done everyday.
Trust your instincts.
We’re constantly bombarded with information from multiple sources these days. Every hour there’s some new story or “life hack” appearing and taking the world by storm until the next one shows up moments later. We’re swayed constantly by marketing, media and the opinions of others that we surround ourselves with.
Technology is progressing at light speed and it seems as though a new gadget or innovation is on the horizon constantly. We focus on something for a bit and then next thing we know, the new version has already dropped and we’re “behind”. In this fast paced world, it’s important to listen to yourself. Trust your own instincts and follow your purpose above all.
It’s great to know things but always discern the information that’s presented to you. That gut feeling is there for a reason. You’re allowed to question things and have your own perceptions of the world. We were born with natural systems and instincts that have kept us alive for generations. Tap into your environment. Connect with the source. Follow a simple, nature and movement oriented path towards health.
Understand, this world can be a very harsh place. People will prey on your weakness. This isn’t to discourage anyone from being a good person. You should give everyone a chance but never let yourself get taken advantage of. Always set your boundaries and fight back when push comes to shove. Show leadership and strength in the heat of battle and uncertainty. It always pays to be bold. Build up your skills and competence. Trust your capabilities and vision. Go all in when the moment calls for it.
Stay in motion.
Systems and theories are only as good as their implementation and adaption. You can have the best blueprint in the world but without the right energy and action driving it forward, nothing will gain traction. Even people who are scattered and erratic tend to get more done and leave a bigger impact than the chronic over thinkers who never put any ideas into play. Learn to balance your planning with your acting. Have the vision in mind at all times while getting the work done in the current moment that will provide tangible results down the line. Combine the two sides in order to reach the next level faster.
A great lesson we can take from animals when we get locked in our own minds is to live entirely in the present moment. It’s harder to achieve this with a human brain as we are processing present stimuli while going over past and future events and adding our own imaginations to the mix all at the same time. Getting into a meditative state in nature is something that can really help turn off that whirlwind and allow us to clear up our thoughts and remain engulfed in the present. Vigorous exercise and deep work gets us into this state as well. It’s a very light and focused feeling where the pressure is on but we have incredible energy that’s being expended on accomplishing these tasks. It’s the opposite to the person seated there obliterating their time and focus with cheap vices and constant distraction. They aren’t moving or thinking much but their energy still gets sapped through negative means.
Use your energy wisely. Understand when to attack with full force and when to recharge. Trust that gut feeling and listen to it more often.
Understand how expending energy in the right ways will get you the results you’ve always desired and funny enough, more energy and excitement for life as well.
You only get tired in a negative sense when you do things that are against your nature and keep you stagnant.
Instead, connect to the source. Get rid of the habits that are holding you back. Add in the habits that will propel you forward.
Stay present in the moment.
Protect and provide for your tribe.
Get the job done.
Enhance your life.
