There’s a lot going on at once.
Every single day we are bombarded physically, mentally and spiritually by sources that don’t always have our best interests at heart. We wake up, check our phones, turn on the TV, scroll and fill our minds with a variety of new and old agendas about how the world is and how it should be. Without any discernment, it’s very easy to get caught up in these time warps for hours on end, consuming information from screens and getting our perceptions molded by talking heads and hypocrites.
It’s extremely important to take some time to craft your own blueprint through daily experience and personal vision. Sure, keep your ear to the streets so to speak, but spending the majority of your waking hours indulging in gossip and getting emotionally invested in loaded news headlines and fabricated drama isn’t the way to improve your own situation. Be aware of how the world actually functions under the surface but don’t use this knowledge as an excuse to lash out and deem things hopeless.
Start by focusing on where your mind is wandering. Reign it back in and avoid getting overly invested in events beyond your control. Determine the best course of action right now to get you to the next level. Don’t think too far ahead. Never let yourself be psychologically manipulated into being scared and playing it small. It’s much better out there than it’s made out to be. People aren’t all crazy psychopaths. The vast majority just want to live good lives and help others. We should unplug and touch some grass once in awhile.
Find your baseline.
You don’t have to book a vacation across the world in order to tune out and clear your mind (although this is definitely an option). Start by getting outside in nature, exercising, moving around, reading a good book, walking in a quiet or crowded area, starting a conversation with someone or walking into a new shop.
There are many things you can do to help reset your focus. Pick some that you might enjoy and try them out. Just 20-30 minutes per day can help you become much more effective and efficient. Your mind will come up with answers you couldn’t previously find and all of a sudden the path becomes much more clear. The distractions are also much easier to evade because you are aware of what’s actually important. The mission takes precedence over drama and events out of your control.
Get back in the zone when you’re thrown off center by outside forces. Realize when your emotions are being manipulated and choose not to participate in the games at hand. Remember what the real needle movers are. Constantly lashing out and feeding into negativity brings much more of it into your life. The feedback loop continues pumping out the things that get it attention. Flip the switch and pursue the things that make you content and fulfilled.
Make your life the movie.
Look within and turn your dreams into reality. One of the most sinister realizations is that most people waste the majority of their time here on earth consuming things that drain their energy and make the people who keep them stagnant very rich and powerful in the process. Instead of trying to create their own reality, they remain on the sidelines cheering for their own enslavement by the forces that would happily keep them dumb and docile until they reach their graves.
Games of power and manipulation are always at play whether we like it or not. We can sit there and complain about the system we were born into or we can be grateful for where we currently are and spend whatever time and energy that remains by creating our own systems. It definitely won’t be easy but it’s always worth it in the end. Do the things in the present moment that will allow you to reach your ideal destination.
No matter how bleak it may seem now, start by unplugging from the barrage of propaganda that floods your screen and focus on how to improve your own life.
Go for a walk. Breathe and relax. Enjoy nature and admire all of God’s creation. The intricate workings and wonder of it all.
Be grateful for all the experiences that have been bestowed on you so far. Your journey is very unique. Your trials and tribulations have shaped you. Lean into your edge and double down on who you are. Carve your own path instead of following the herd.
Trust your instincts and connect with the source.
Focus on the moment.
Clear your mind.
Set the target.
Attack.
