Movement is very important.
Every stage of life requires you to move around and take action to produce any type of results.
More often than not, we may find ourselves in “ruts”. Nothing seems to be working. We feel off not only physically but mentally and spiritually as well. A certain roadblock that keeps us stagnant and stuck.
An effective way to combat this is to realize that you may need to get moving. Change up your environment, go for a walk, workout, read a new book, waltz into a cafe, chat with a stranger, go for a drive. Get out of your own head and start getting the wheels in motion.
Any problems will only get worse if you sit there in silence banging your head against the wall. Step out of the mental prison for a minute and focus on changing your physical state.
Something as little as a few pushups or a 10 minute walk outside can let your brain properly process information and give you the correct perspectives you were trying so hard to think of the entire time.
The body, mind and spirit are all much more connected than we may think. By improving all three areas you become a better person overall. Some might just focus on one sector while neglecting the others. This is better than neglecting all three but it will benefit you to put time and energy into each one. This combination will enhance every area simultaneously as they work in sync to give you greater strength, intelligence and wisdom moving forward.
If you feel stuck in one realm, work on another until the ideas start flowing and the path becomes clear again. This will shift time and energy into other productive areas instead of losing them by feeling stuck and stressed over one particular problem.
If you get creative, there’s always something you can do at every moment to move the needle.
You won’t hit a home run every time but the accumulation of going that extra mile will bring insights and opportunities you weren’t able to fathom beforehand.
Start with the body. Exercise more, eat properly, sleep well. Develop a solid physical foundation that will give you clarity and purpose. You'll have more time and energy during the day to get more done.
More dots will connect and your systems will become more efficient. You’ll have an increased sense of gratitude realizing that many are not able to move around due to an accident or illness and you’ll stop taking your health for granted. You’ll be more confident in your actions and things will flow better throughout the day.
Whenever the next “rut” starts to form, you’ll know that moving around and giving that extra effort will snap you out of it. Get in motion right away and don’t allow it to take shape or gain a deeper hold on your mind.
As long as we persevere and keep moving forward, all the answers we are seeking will be delivered in some way, shape or form. The ones that stop dead in their tracks to sulk and complain for eternity will never reach the destination. Without the will to continue fighting through adversity, we will never be rewarded.
Through the constant persistence we show by working on ourselves regardless of the circumstances, results begin to appear which guide us to new levels.
The darts begin to stick to the board and we’re able to start quantifying things. What volume of what action leads to which results? Momentum starts to build and unexpected wins occur because in moments past we gave a little extra even though on paper it wasn’t “necessary” at the time.
Try to think outside the box at all times. Understand there are an infinite amount of areas that can be improved by just getting started and seeing where the initial efforts take you.
Never overthink it. Get moving one step at a time. You won’t have all the answers but they will start to appear with the right action.
Patience and gratitude are key on this journey. Some things will take time no matter what. It doesn’t mean you should sit and wait in the meantime.
Be creative and get more done with the time and energy that’s given to you.
Reaching new levels makes life worthwhile and gives a strong sense of purpose once some traction is gained.
Take a look at you body, mind and spirit. What are you strengths and weaknesses? What are your passions and interests? What is your current environment like?
Analyze where you are and where you want to be. Hold that vision constantly in the back of your mind. Start executing with what you currently know.
Never let yourself get stuck, no matter what the circumstances may be.
Rain or shine, show up and get something done physically, mentally or spiritually.
Don’t take your life for granted. Many wish to be in your shoes.
Bring your imagination to life. Dreams become reality with enough patience and persistence.
Take advantage of all the opportunity in the world while you still can.
Enjoy every moment.
