The world seems to be moving at a rapid pace these days.
A lot to get done. Much to wrap our heads around. It can sometimes appear like life is on autopilot and we’re just going through pre-scripted motions.
It’s often said that repetition is what helps us learn best. This is very true. What we don’t seem to question is whether or not we are learning to repeat the right things.
Once habits set in, it’s easy to get lost in the comfort and monotony of it all. Shutting off our brains to repeat similar motions, day in and day out.
Instead of setting the pace for our lives, we can often fall prey to these traps which keep us lingering or playing catch up.
We are hit on all fronts. Physically, mentally and spiritually. Many things vying for our energy and attention.
Getting into the right rhythms tends to help improve different areas in sync. Go to the gym a few days in a row and suddenly your mind becomes sharper. Finish up a project with the new insights. Sense of purpose is heightened now that you are in a flow state getting the right things done.
The body, mind and spirit feed off of each other. We can help the synchronicity by improving each area.
Moving through nature and getting a feel for the physical world around us. Making sense of these inputs using mental frameworks we develop through trial and error.
Pulling new insights from our imagination. Having a higher spiritual purpose guiding our lives and basing our actions around the completion of this mission, even when the going gets tough.
All of this is intertwined with the constant movement of time and fate. We are put in certain situations to learn lessons. Each realm is tested.
We might get physically sick, mentally stuck or spiritually hopeless at times. Those days where it seems a little harder to rev up the engine and get going. Life comes to a grinding halt.
When we strive to improve in each realm, we develop a better overall sense of who we actually are and what we are able to handle.
Pushing ourselves physically. Sharpening ourselves mentally. Expanding our horizons spiritually. Coming to terms with the constant passing of time. Understanding how to best use the cards dealt to us.
The fact is we are here now in this moment. How can we spend the rest of the time we’ve been given?
The answers to this are infinite depending on our current state and situation.
Don’t try to start the rest of the journey at the finish line. Take those first initial steps to enhance the main driving forces of your life.
You don’t have to become a bodybuilder or professional fighter but start getting into shape.
You don’t have to become a billionaire or world leader but start solving the right problems.
You don’t have to become a priest or a monk but start having faith and a purpose that guides you throughout the day.
Instead of trying to control the universe, build your own version.
Discover the type of life you want to live and make it a reality over the course of time.
Enjoy the changes and challenges that come with undertaking such a great endeavour.
Live within the flow of the present moment while keeping the blueprint in mind.
Some days will seem like no shot is hitting the target. Others will surprise you with unexpected wins. In the long run, your efforts will be rewarded and your true intentions revealed.
We can pretend to show up everyday or we can actually do what we said we would.
Every second we remain conscious is another second we have to decide how to act, how to think and what to believe.
Instead of running along the hamster wheel to the beat of someone else’s drum, we are gifted another opportunity to set the pace ourselves. To live by a code. To embrace fate at every turn.
There is no better moment than the now to take advantage of all the resources this world has to offer.
Get clear on your vision.
Set the objectives and keep gaining momentum by taking action on a daily basis.
You won’t have all the answers right off the bat. Too much information won’t help you either if you don’t know how to use it.
Embrace the unknown that comes with all of this. Life would be dull without it.
Avoid boredom and stagnation. There is always something that can be done. Take control of your time and enhance every facet of your life.
