Life is marked by different milestones.
There is a high sense of emotion attached to what we perceive as our greatest achievements or failures.
New highs and lows are remembered far down the line.
What we tend to forget are the days, months and years of risk and repetition which allowed us enough momentum to take flight.
Without this runway, we are unable to get anything off the ground long enough for results to appear. Those sudden wins or strokes of genius we are hit with that alter the course of our lives wouldn’t be possible without the right foundations.
It’s important to be persistent, especially in the beginning. Allowing ourselves to focus on what matters for extended periods of time and taking action is what grants us those miracle opportunities we’ve dreamed of.
Real influence over one’s environment is built through volume, competence and talent. Knowing how to do something, doing it well and doing it often.
The more shots we take with the things we are passionate about and good at, the better our results will continue to get over time.
What once seemed impossible will become another stepping stone to a new peak. The cycle continues and the limit to what you can accomplish does not exist when you build the right systems for your situation.
Create the necessary changes in your life to shake things up. Cut out the things that are holding you back. Add on the things that will propel you forward. This constant balance of refining your methods through addition and subtraction will increase your success exponentially and get you to new levels much quicker.
Play the game with your goals and vision in mind at all times. What can you do in this moment to better yourself physically, mentally and/or spiritually?
Getting into the habit of analyzing where your time and energy is going daily will help you to become much more efficient as a person.
-Can you dedicate more minutes towards getting in better shape?
-Can you find the hours in your schedule to hone your skills and make more money?
-Can you read, write and post some content everyday no matter what circumstances or challenges might arise?
-Can you build the right networks and relationships that will benefit and enhance every aspect of your life?
There are an infinite number of questions you can be asking and areas you can be improving in at all times. Start by letting your imagination flow and fostering the right levels of creativity and curiosity that will enable you to come up with new ideas around the clock.
All these small sacrifices and actions taken in the moment to go the extra mile pay off down the line. We are rewarded exponentially for our efforts. Delaying cheap forms of gratification in search of a greater purpose is what paves the way for those massive future victories.
Acquire the necessary skills and tools that will help you take off quicker. It’s much better to continue walking two steps forward and getting knocked one step back than it is to never start walking at all.
The world is moving at a rapid pace. More technology and opportunity than ever before. Connection has never been easier with the right sources. There are markets for almost anything you can fathom. Your idea probably isn’t that crazy. You’re just using that mental block as another excuse to stay on the sidelines.
With enough effort and patience you can build that initial traction that will tell you if that idea was really that crazy after all. Most of the time we are much more capable than we give ourselves credit for. We just never gave ourselves a chance to go through the growing pains that come with being a beginner at something.
Develop a mindset that enables you to dive in regardless of any perceived thoughts of fear. That perception can easily be changed by being curious enough to develop initial competence that will set the wheels in motion.
Every personal experience I’ve had where there was an opportunity in the moment that I talked myself out of and took the “easy” route ended up in regret. This could’ve been alleviated by going through the motions to the best of my capabilities and letting the chips fall where they might’ve.
Diving head first into those endeavours and battling any mental blockades should become second nature.
Feelings of inadequacy only go away from stepping into the arena continuously and gaining experience. Making excuses as to why it won’t work out is what keeps the average person stagnant.
Don’t get caught wondering what could have been when it’s really too late to fix things.
Start building your runway now so you’re able to take off sooner than later.
The constant daily work of bettering yourself physically, mentally and spiritually will pay off massively.
You’ll thank yourself when it’s evident in the future that you made the right choices and can now rest easy knowing you gave it your all while you had the chance.
Get out there and make it count. Build the systems that will let you live life on your own terms.
Explore the possibilities this world has to offer.
Break free and reach new levels.
