Look at the board in front of you.
Understand what you’re playing for and act accordingly. There is always a next move to make no matter what level we might currently be at. Choices never end. New ones appear at every moment. We constantly decide, consciously or not, where our time and energy go.
You’re in it at all times whether or not you think so. The decisions and choices we make on a daily basis dictate our physical, mental and spiritual states. Even sitting there doing nothing is a choice. We are surrounded by different choices at each present moment.
As time goes by we tend to gain more experience and become better at discerning if things might be good or bad for our current situation. Testing theory is crucial. Without action there’s no feedback. Take some risks and trust your nature. We learn many things about ourselves by stepping into the arena.
Mistakes should be looked at as lessons. Time passes but the game never ends until we return to dust. What we do with the time and choices we are given throughout life is heavily dependent on how aware we are of our purpose. When that target is in place, our focus becomes much more refined. Choices start to become very simple and we are ruthless about which areas we put our energy into. When the mission becomes clear, the next move becomes much more obvious.
Have a vision. Focus on the next step. Let the chips fall where they may.
It’s very easy these days to get distracted with the constant flow of information and different choices presented to us at all times. Very important to get clear on your specific vision and to focus on the next few steps ahead. With access to so many different personalities and guides thanks to the internet, we should avoid putting the cart before the horse. Look at the next few steps you have to take and start to execute with the knowledge and resources you currently have available. Look out for advanced information as it is needed. Start by cementing the basics and doing the right work to get to the next levels.
It takes time to master things but by continuing to fire shots at the right targets, we start to improve at an exponential rate. Skills begin to stack on top of each other and more dots start connecting which enables us to become more effective at what we do. Efficiency improves as well and we start to do more in less time.
The odds might not always be in our favor but by analyzing the options we have and taking action on that information, we start to receive the answers we seek through the experience we garner over time.
When we see someone who has achieved mastery in a certain subject, there tends to be a type of obsession that drove them to become great. Constantly deciding over and over again to hone their craft in the face of any challenges, roadblocks or adversity. Every move made with the intention of reaching the next level. This type of focus and dedication is a natural symptom of trying to fulfill one’s purpose over the course of a lifetime. All the noise seems to tune out on it’s own because time and energy are spent transforming the vision into reality. Adopting this frame of mind helps to cure any sense of dread or hopelessness that may arise when tragedy strikes. The right mission can get you through the darkest of times.
You only lose when you stop moving.
Everyone’s timing is different. Some people are child prodigies and some become popular only after they are dead and gone. Instead of comparing your journey to everybody else’s, look for people who have results in subjects you want to improve in and start creating your own systems.
There’s always another chance as long as we get up and start moving again. No matter what situation we might find ourselves in, there is always something we can try to do to solve the problem.
It’s important not to be scared of making mistakes. Without gaining experience and learning the right lessons, it’s almost impossible to make progress and get better. This goes for almost anything we might choose to pursue. The options are there but we must take action on them to get the results.
Shift the way you view the situations in front of you. Each problem is an opportunity. Every mistake is a lesson. Losing is just another stepping stone to victory unless we sulk and stagnate. The perception of fear and rejection tends to enforce how future events turn out. Get rid of those mental chains that destroy your ability to take real action and change your life for the better.
Having a positive outlook never hurts the current moment, no matter how much it has been dreaded. Broadening our horizons and taking a look at the bigger picture helps to determine the best course of action in the immediate future.
Many lock themselves into mental prisons. Others smile when they’re thrown into the lion’s den. Look at things on the upside and they will turn out in your favor more often than not. Even if you don’t get exactly what you were looking for, you’ll be rewarded along the way in some shape or form. The energy you put in will be reciprocated and all the answers you were seeking start to become available.
The possibilities are limitless if we start by taking those first few steps.
Moment after moment, we choose the moves we need to make that will allow us to complete the mission.
There will be trials and tribulations but by constantly taking action we will always find a way forward.
The game never ends.
