Most of the answers we seek are already available to us.
We just have to give our minds space to think. It’s important to carve out some time where we’re able to disconnect from the constant buzz of information that bombards us in our daily environments and online.
By going on “airplane mode” and walking around outside, we begin to feel our brains working out problems that we don’t have time to properly focus on while in the middle of working, talking, scrolling or running errands. Just a few minutes of getting into nature and freeing our minds can give us a boost of clarity and spark creativity to solve nagging problems.
Training, exercise and engaging hobbies are also good ways to shut off the constant buzzing of the outside world. These types of environments allow us to physically focus on the task at hand while letting our minds focus on sorting out the mental hurdles that block us from reaching new levels.
You often hear people say that a great idea hit them most unexpectedly. When they were out for a walk in the park or on a run. These times where we shut off most of the outside stimulation and just let our thoughts fill the void are when we’re able to synthesize all the information in our conscious and subconscious minds. We allow creativity to fill the void with the answers to our current problems.
Nature and movement help to unlock this flow state.
When we’re in tune with the environment around us without the constant distraction of daily life, things start to click. This is some of the best time to brainstorm new ideas and steer your train of thought in the right direction.
Giving our minds a break to come up with the right solutions pays off many dividends down the line. We become much more efficient through the strategies we’re able to think up in these states of focus.
Don’t try to force the answers. Work on what needs to be done. Give yourself some time each day to get out and move around. Some time to think clearly on what needs to be done without the constant buzzing in your ear from outside sources. Look within and see what you can find. Chances are you know much more than you think. Give your mind the time and space to sort through the infinite thoughts and ideas it has stored in your memories.
Connect to the source.
In a world that seems more connected than ever virtually, many are completely disconnected from their spirit. More and more people seem to lack purpose these days. Never digging deep under the surface to try and understand what their mission in life truly is.
This is why taking some time to trust your instincts and figure out what path you want to take is essential to living a life you love. There are many different ways forward but you’ll never know which is ideal if your mind is always clouded. Focus on what truly matters and dedicate the right time and energy to improving certain areas of your life.
When that golden idea arrives during these moments of solitude and reflection with nature, we realize that the answers were there somewhere all along. We just weren’t looking in the right places. Even more likely is that we were too distracted to start looking in the first place. This is why spending some time in nature or working on our hobbies is an important mindset shift that allows us to explore new perspectives. The worries are shut off and our brains are able to concentrate on what really matters in the grand scheme of things.
Technology has made life more comfortable than ever before. It’s very easy to get caught up in the web for long periods of time without taking a break from the digital world. Luckily, something as simple as a 10 minute walk in nature, daily exercise or an engaging hobby is enough to give our minds the space to explore the depths of our consciousness and find the right solutions that can alter our future course of actions for the better.
We don’t have to give up our phones or live in the woods to gain the right clarity. Technology is here to stay and can be very beneficial if used correctly. By choosing to spend some time each day connecting with nature and going on “airplane mode”, we set ourselves up to flow much better with life.
These moments of solitude where we’re physically engaged with our environment allows our minds to sort out many issues we might be facing. We start up again feeling recharged and ready. New strategies to implement into our systems. Ready to get back to work with more creativity and effectiveness.
Never underestimate the power of disconnecting.
Cut out the noise and allow the answers to enter your mind.
Get out there and flow with your environment.
Connect the dots and gain clarity.
Reach new levels.
