It goes without saying that some people might be luckier than others. Being born into better situations with great environments that set them up for success before they’re even old enough to know what to do with their cards. Some may find themselves in the opposite category, deeming themselves unworthy due to past traumas and situations. Wherever we may fall along the spectrum, the best course of action is to play the hand that’s in front of us. Strategize to position yourself in the best possible spot no matter what obstacles might be blocking the road ahead.
Analyze if the life you’re currently living is congruent with your mission and vision. Figure out your purpose and start steering the ship in the proper direction. Make the moves that will get you to the right destination. Step by step, keep taking action. You won’t have all the answers, especially at the beginning, but the right ones will start to appear as you make progress and continue down the path.
It’s important to get off the sidelines no matter what current life stage you may be at. You can’t sit there in the corner waiting for a miracle to come over and change your life. You have to be accountable and proactive. Attacking your targets daily and also defending yourself from the the negative people and patterns that are trying to throw you off course. Remember that you can’t go from A-Z in one day. You shouldn’t focus entirely on the results in the beginning. Set your blueprint. Stick to it no matter what. Dive into these new habits. Let the chips fall where they may. Gain the right wisdom and experience that’ll help you reach new heights.
Build your risk tolerance.
It’s hard to get anywhere without any skin in the game. Players always have an advantage over spectators because they understand that there’s a level of sacrifice needed to accomplish great things in this life. At certain points, gratification has to be delayed to reach the next level. The momentum has to build in order to propel us forward. Without action and risk, the right changes will never take place.
With each greater effort we give and greater risk we take, the tolerance for each becomes stronger. Experience adds up and we can take on tougher challenges with ease. The unknown starts to inspire awe and wonder instead of fear and worry. It’s important to build these muscles over time. Never shy away from problems. Learn how to get better at solving them. Go out and take on missions that you’re proud of. Always be driven to complete the next objective.
The mindset should be that there’s always a solution, always another move to make and always a way out of any situation. Opportunity is everywhere when looking in the right places. Go on that adventure. Create your own adventure. Shake things up. Take the risks and reap the rewards. Create the blueprint and do what it takes to build your ideal life.
Use your resources.
Everyone has something they can offer at the end of the day. Granted, some are more skilled and better positioned than others but this shouldn’t take away from the fact that there’s always something to be done. Each of us has some sort of edge. Leaning into it will make things flow much better. Understand your purpose and core values and proceed to live life by a code. Use whatever weapons are at your disposal to win battles and get to a better position.
Material objects should ultimately be a means to an end for the most part. It’s definitely great to have nice things and build a comfortable life but the real objective should be fulfilling our purpose and making life better for our loved ones. Use resources as a way to reach new levels and try not to hoard or develop an attachment to money and objects. Make sure things are constantly flowing and you aren’t stuck in the same spot forever because of debt and greed.
Lead life with an abundant mindset. There’s always a way forward and more riches at the end of the tunnel. Make sure you’re living with purpose and the rest will fall into place. The mission should be the priority.
