Apply what you know.
Nobody is born with all of the answers. We go through life constantly trying to make sense of the things we come across on a daily basis. Each person with their own unique set of experiences. It’s important not to get flustered when faced with the unknown. Always have faith that things will work out in your favor and apply what you know to get to the next level. Thinking too far ahead makes the daily tasks seem daunting. Combine the vision with action and refine your systems as time goes by to maximize results.
We fare much better when we trust our instincts and focus on what’s in front of us. There’s no need to overload on information. Take the bits and pieces that will help you build your skills and implement that knowledge into action. When we step into the arena and put our theories to the test, we’re given feedback about what works and what doesn’t. From this feedback we’re able to analyze our mistakes and switch up our tactics for optimal performance. Putting our time and energy in the right places leads to major improvements in how effective and efficient we become with completing tasks and improving our skillsets overall.
Every piece of information we come across is a tool that can help us or a trap that will ensnare us. Discard what doesn’t serve you and double down on what’s moving the needle. This constant refinement is how we go from being good to being great. Everyday is an opportunity to better an area of life.
Build up endurance.
Some of the best visual examples of endurance can be seen through incredible feats of athletic performance. If you’ve ever played or followed sports you understand the level of training and experience it takes to maintain high level performance over an extended career. The silent preparation and work behind the scenes of the marvels we see during games and competitions. We can translate this to our own lives by repeatedly training the things we want to master until what was difficult becomes easy and new challenges once thought impossible are undertaken.
If you’ve never ran before you might feel dead tired after a couple of laps. If you take it upon yourself to start running every day you can increase your cardio and a few minutes becomes a breeze. If you dial in your nutrition on top of running consistently and improving your speed, you’ll be able to run much faster and for longer periods of time. You can then get more competitive and set higher targets for yourself. This running analogy can be applied to anything in life. The more you do something and the more focused you become, the better you get and the more you’re able to take on.
Even when things seem boring and tedious, have the will to push through and endure the hardships to come out faster, stronger and smarter on the other side. Building the foundations is what will propel us to new heights, able to take on any challenge that may come our way. Never shy away from the battles. Attack head on and gain the right wisdom and experience. Take every opportunity to train as a blessing and strive to become great in every facet of life that’s important to you.
Stop hoarding time and energy.
Our time in this world is finite. Even with unlimited health precautions, advancements and protocols, every human that’s born will eventually die one day. Some don’t make it past birth, others see a century come and go. We don’t know where we’ll fall on that spectrum until the day comes but until then we should use our time very wisely. Energy is finite as well. Sometimes we have a lot of one but not much of the other and vice versa. Each can be used to gain more of the other and when balanced properly we’re able to build a fulfilling life that we love living.
Each phase of life brings different energy and time constraints. When we are kids we don’t have much authority over our decisions and where we can go. When we have kids we’re responsible to raise them while still being able to work and pursue our missions. Knowing when to do what and how to carve out time is very important to reach the ideal destination. Understand your own strengths and weaknesses paired with passions and current knowledge to get a clearer picture of what a great day and life looks like for you. Know yourself and live your way.
Use the time and energy wisely while you still have it.
Understand the pace at which life is moving.
Take the risks that will get you where you need to go.
Make the most of the journey and be grateful.
Power through any roadblocks.
Always stay in motion.
